Death Overseas / By Ferry & Road
Death can happen at any time. One such occasion is on holiday in a foreign country. This is where travel insurance takes over and covers the cost of transporting the body back to Ireland where the funeral director appointed by the family will take over and carry out the families wishes.
If death occurs in the UK and the body needs to be taken back to Ireland, we will in most circumstances travel over to the UK and bring the deceased back to Ireland by ferry or road.
If the funeral is not taking place in the UK we can have the deceased back home in Ireland within a number of days. Funerals normally take a number of weeks in the UK.
